Spacious 3BR Near United Center & Medical District

Just Okay. Positive: The unit is new, everything you needed. Negative: The deposit link was sent for me to add my card for a $300 deposit, which I did. A few days before check in I was asked to send a Zelle payment as the host said the link I used was no longer showing my card or booking information. I was very hesitant to do so, but I did. The listing said parking was free you just had to reserve it, But twice I was asked to pay another $25 per day for parking, which I ended up getting for free as it was stated in the listing. The host was resposive to me but booking.com rep advised me they sent my concerns to the host and they never got a reply. The beds are low to the ground and mattresses are thin, very uncomfortable. We arrived and within a hour my daughter found a colony of ants in the bedroom, which I reported and the host stated they weren't reported by any previous guest or the cleaning company. We certainly didn't bring them with. The walls are thin and we could hear the neighbors, there also must be a club or bar near by as the music and bass was loud everynight. The toilet was stopped up and I had to purchase a plunger to be able to use that bathroom. The area is not the greatest but the unit is very secure as well as the parking in back, although the parking area is tight it was convenient as there's not much street parking. I left a plunger and a can opener for future guests. I unfortunately didnt love this place.
